Retaining data after the trial period

Hi!

We have just started a FreshDesk trial and I was wondering what’s the procedure with our data after the trial period, when we decide on a particular plan?

Does it make sense to create teams, knowledge base topics etc. already during the trial period, because that data survives the transition from trial to a final plan?

Or is this trial data wiped out along with this auto-generated sample data available in trial environment and the only way is to export all data at the end of the trial period and re-import into new plan?

Hello @mvidanovic, good day! We are glad to have you in our Freshdesk community. All data would be retained when you switch from trial to active plan unless you downgrade to a lower plan. 

For instance, if you are trialling in the Forest plan and if you choose to downgrade to the Blossom plan, all resources you have created using features available in the Forest plan but not supported in the Blossom plan would be lost. You would see a warning message before you change plans under Admin → Account settings → Plans and billing if that’s the case.
