If I create a topic, is there a way to add the content of that topic to a canned response?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a feature/functionality to convert a topic content into a canned response. A canned response is a predefined set of reply templates that an agent can send out with a single click. In contrast, a forum topic is a medium to discuss your product/services amongst your community audience or customers. 

Our product team didn’t find a need to have a feature to convert a topic into a canned response, for now, we only have an option to convert a topic into tickets with Freshdesk.

If you ever feel the need to have a feature to convert topics into canned responses, you can write to elaborating the use case and the business scenario for this feature, so we could push this to our product team as a feature request considering your feedback.
