Is there a way to delete a translation of a KB article?

What I can currently see:

  1. I can publish a translation (language shown in green circle)
  2. I can have a draft version of a published translation (language shown in green circle with three dots under it)
  3. I can never have written a translation (language shown in grey circle)
  4. I can have written a translation but never published it (language shown in grey circle with three dots under it).
What I am looking for is to go from case 2 or 4 to case 3 by deleting a translation.
Any suggestions if this can be done?

Hello,

Apologies for the delay in getting back here. At the moment, we do not support the deletion of article translations, however, we have the ability to unpublish the same to view as drafts. Understanding your concern on this, we are happy to explore the possibilities of this requirement.

Any further queries, feel free to drop an email to support@freshdesk.com and we would be happy to help!

Cheers,

I have translated an article that turned out not to be needing a translation. I would like to remove it, to not cause future confusion, but I seem to be unable to do so without removing the entire article and remaking it in the original language only.
