We’ve adopted new temperature scanners for all of our offices at each entry way that notifies HR and the IT team on whether if someone enters with a high temp.

We’ve also updated our WFH policy as well as upgraded every user from a Desktop to a Laptop during the pandemic.

We also had to learn how to work with our customers and stay connected with them during this pandemic while everyone recovered from the losses to their business.

One of the things I’ve increasingly seen is that the pandemic has focused companies and their IT organizations on the importance of employee productivity - a combination of needing greater efficiency and recognizing that remote workers have fewer contingencies and potentially more obstacles to working than when they were office based. This then translates to how IT services and support operations need to work.
