I have gone through this https://support.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/52630-understanding-dynamic-content-and-placeholders But am unable to find out if there’s a way to get the id of the latest_public_comment.
I have tried {{ticket.latest_public_comment.id}} and various other placeholder’s with no result.
Also it would be great if I could somehow get the attachments of that comment.

I understand that you are looking to retrieve note ID using placeholders. At the product level we will only be able to fetch the last private note and the public note with the help of the placeholders and we do not have commands to fetch the Note ID and the attachments.
However, you can bring this up on our Ideas page so that it gets more visibility from our product team and might resonate amongst customers with the same need.
