Dashboard numbers colors

Dashboard numbers colorsWe need the color GREEN for dashboard numbers. As simple as it sounds, my team works better with numbers and I have noticed they hate not being able to get their yellows to Green. They see Red, and they work hard to get them to yellow, but that’s it.

How to create a dropdown with id's

Hello everyone! I need to add a dropdown to my record view (for example to Contact view).But I would like that this dropdown would have items id’s; the generic dropdown field doesn’t have the option to add id to their items. Some one knows if its possible?‘Cause I’m developing a custom API, and I think that would be easier work with the options id of the dropdowns. Regards.

How to connect to a private API using a authorized domain

Hi everyone Hope you are doing well. I need your help for this issue: I need to connect to an API, this API is private and you can connect with the API using the authorize domain wich I provide to the owner of the API ( in this case the authorized domain is my instances of Freshdesk Omnichannel ). Now my question is: To connect with this private API i need to put the url domain of the API and the url of my instances in the whitelist domain to indicate that the request will be from my instance. Fetch FAQs from FD knowledge base on basis of some tag that can associated

Hi  I was looking for if there is a way to achieve below two things  Search faq articles from knowledge base with some filter in it . For example if i have multiple products whose FAQs are stored in the same account and i want to use the search API of FAQs using some filter that will only fetch FAQs with that particular filter ( I saw that Fresh-chat mobile SDK offers this as solution but does not have APIs associated with it)  2 . Use FD knowledge base similar to how FC knowledge base is created in SDK (with all the filtering capabilities that they have )

I saw the article linked here: but I would like to utilize a hybrid format, where I have 3 or 4 articles that do not have a folder, and are related to an entire category.  Is there a solution for this at the moment?

Software Development Process and Change Management

Hi All -A growing startup and we just acquired a company to double our size.  We are now at the stage where our current workflows and processes are not meeting the new demand.  We put together a small customized app that is now getting holes poked into it because we never received the true user requirements.  Users are asking for changes that are far out of scope and it’s causing some chaos.  I need something where an executive or stakeholder requests an app, change in an app, a process, whatever from IT by filling out templates.  That template comes to IT and we discuss, then reply back with our proposal.  The user then “signs off” on the finalized agreement.  That way, there is no confusion on what was proposed and what they agreed on.With many upcoming changes, I am trying to get ahead of this.  I see some possibilities in FreshService but I am not sold.  Does anyone complete this function within FreshService and have any recommendations?  Did you build templates within the system o

Cognitoforms - Freshdesk link

hi all, newbie here, please do we know how to link a cognito form to freshdesk? ideally we want to auto assign the tickets to a specific group (team in freshdesk) to notify the appropriate people. Any help greatly appreciated, i have already created a test form in cognito forms with around 5-6 fields. i have inputted our general freshdesk email account address too but when i run a test sumission on cognito side, no ticket is raised, am i missing something? thanks in advance, Mike

Screenshot field is not available for mobile

We’ve embedded the helpdesk widget to our portal. We’ve included the possibility to add screenshots there. This field is available on desktop but it’s absent on mobile. I’ve talked to support (pooooor support) and looks like the feature is not available for mobile. So, two questions1. Is it possible to fix this?2, If not - is it possible to have attachment field on mobile whereas on desktop we’d still prefer screenshots​​​​​​​3, if this is not available for mobiles, please indicate it somehow on form configuration section.thanks

Reopen on reply does not work in the free version?

I am struggling trying to figure out what is a bug, and what is just not available in the free version.   The canned email for resolved tickets in the free version states that the ticket will reopen on reply.   I tested this and it does not reopen the ticket.    So, is that a bug or just something that is not available in the free version?

Insert a description or instructions in Canned Responses

In the Canned Responses, it would be great to have a field where we can insert a description or instructions to our team about when and how to use the response like the picture below. This part is not sent to customers, but only viewable by support staff to get additional context/direction on a specific canned response

Hi there, I am a relatively new user of Freshdesk or for that matter of fact any ticketing system. I have understood the basic functionality of Freshdesk, but now I want to get into the type insights that Freshdesk can generate for me and for that I understand that its important to set the properties for tickets such as TAGS, TYPE and GROUP, is that correct? which one of this field is the most important for ticket categorization and which in turn reflects into reports

Quirky FreshDesk company import process

I will export my company list, delete the companies I don’t want to update (leaving the column headings/field names intact), make my updates, then do the import.  The process seems to have a hard time figuring out what fields map with what fields (see attached), even though I haven’t changed the field names or even the order of the columns. I change all the Any dropdowns to the correct field name (again it matches perfectly with what it’s called on the left side) so I can import and ensure the right data goes to the right fields. Why is that?

Clicky analytics support

It would be great if an extension for Clicky analytics (http://clicky.com) was available (similar to how Google Analytics is available).We (and many others) use Clicky in preference to GA.
