unable to reset agent password

Hello,


I am trying to reset the password of one of our agents with no luck...no email arrives if we use the forgot password feature and we cannot find password reset option from agent options..

Can you please help?

 @gschizas  Please check if your agent’s are verified first, by navigating to Admin > Agents and look out for a banner asking you to ‘Send Activation email’ under the agent profile. 
 



If you don't notice anything the agent seems to be verified, the agent can use the "forgot password" option on your helpdesk login page:

  • Type your URL in the address bar, hit enter, and select Login. Then choose the option Are you an Agent? Login here.
  • Select Forgot password option, enter your email address and a password reset link will be sent to your email. 
  • Reset the password using the link and you can log in to the account.

Write to support@freshdesk.com if you still have issues in receiving the password reset link.
