I can SSH into the server w/ root + creds. I put those same things into a device scan and nothing. The port 22 firewall is open in/out on the ESXi box. This is VERY important because it carries all the actual hardware details, instead of a hypervisor "hardware" scan.
Please advise. Google has nothing and if this product wants to be taken seriously it needs to be able to scan
To discover ESXi, we are not using ssh protocol, we are using SOAP.
The device should be reachable through https://vmware-ip/sdk/vimService.wsdl
Opening the port TCP/443 would help solve the issue.

I have the same issue.
I know that my vmware credentials are correct. I have the probe installed in the same subnet of the esx servers so there is no firewall issue involved.
We need a solution asap!
