Freshservice integration with Tableau

Hi,

Can any one tell me how to integrate freshservice with tableau. Step by step process. I am not able to do that.

When I connect to FreshService from Tableau it creates a CSV data extract. The data shows up fine in the preview section on the ‘Data Source’ tab. But when I pull any field (say ‘Priority’ from the FreshService Tickets module) it shows me garbage values in the workbook. Anyone faced similar issue? How did you resolve it?

Hi Biswajit,


We can use the data connector https://fsbots.freshservice.com/tableau_bridge  to connect Tableau to Freshservice. In Tableau, You can select more and choose the web data connector and then use the bridge URL to load our Analytics Data export file which you can further use to modify the data as per your requirements.

 


You can use your API key for authentication purposes. You can get your API Key by navigating to your “Profile Settings” under your “Icon” button at the Top Right.
