How to create Purchase Order for Existing Asset

Hi there,

 

We are new to FreshService and I have a question. We have an agent discovered Asset. I was wondering how can I create and associate a Purchase Order with this? I know I can create a Purchase Order and receive it into our inventory but once I put in the Serial Number it says this asset already exists. I tried searching the Forums and Help Topic but no luck on this exact issue.

Hi @stanleyn Currently when the serial number matches with an already existing asset you would not be able to receive them via a PO. If you have not associated any tickets with the asset discovered through the agnet, then you can delete the asset from your inventory and then receive the asset through PO. Since the serial number is same, the discovery agent would go ahead an update the added asset later.
