It takes time to manually peruse every application. You have to ensure that the candidate has the desired skills and experience, learn if they are willing to travel for work, relocation and so on. What if we tell you there's a way to automate it, such that you accept only those applications that fulfil your criteria and auto-reject those that don't.
Let's take an instance wherein you want to auto-reject candidates who are unwilling to work night shifts. Here's how you set it up in Freshteam using Autopilot Workflows.
- Go to the Job details for which you'd like to auto-reject candidates. Click Hiring workflow.
- Select Manage Autopilot Workflows.
- In the page that follows, select Reject based on certain criteria.
- Provide a name for the automation.
- Name the automation as ‘Auto-reject candidate unwilling to work night shifts’
- Select the event as ‘When a candidate gets added to the job’
- Select the criteria. Choose the options for which the candidate should be rejected. In this case, it would be the custom field, 'Are you willing to work night shifts?'. If the answer is 'No,' the automation gets activated.
- Choose what action you want to perform on the applications that meet the criteria. In this case, you would auto-reject the candidate. You can further notify the candidate using the default rejection email or use the canned responses.
