Would like to hide Mark ticket as Closed button for specific service item I have CSS which Hide across . Please suggest

If I understood correctly, you may hide the Close button using a Business Rule, specifying for Requester:

 

Please set additional conditions as per your need.

I am more intrested in hiding Mark ticket as closed button . Which is genrally appear on top of the page . I can hide this completely via applying CSS but i want to hide this only for specific service item

I understand.

Hiding the Status would also remove the button from the UX.

However, it will hide it for every ticket. With Conditions, you would be able to hide it for SR only, but again, it will be for all, and not service-item level based.

I’m not sure this could be accomplished by standard available options in the UX, but using CSS coding this might be able.

In this scenario, I’d suggest to submit a support case.

Hi I am also very interested in hiding or removing the Mark Ticket As Closed button at the top of each ticket in the customer portal. Tickets should never go directly to Closed status and only technicians should Resolve a ticket.


I also would love for this to go away.  This button overrides any rules that we have in place.  Requesters can close a ticket even with open/unresolved tasks!
