We will be enhancing our data visualization capabilities in Analytics. We have decided to replace Plotly with Highcharts, an interactive and insightful chart engine. Once implemented, you will be able to automatically render labels when they are long and zoom in/out various graphs as required. 

What does this new charting engine offer?

  • Same number of charts as Plotly
  • More interactive and readable charts with the hover effect
  • Better handled labels when the number of legends
  • Automatically rendered labels when they are long
  • Both way zoom-in and zoom-out with bar chart and line chart
  • Easier chart legend scaling with the resizing a widget

@swetha.shiva - Do you have an estimation of when this change would happen?

As with all backend changes I’d guess they could be some teething problems. Our managers currently produce a lot of reports using Analytics which they send directly to customers/customer centres. I’d like to forewarn then about the change if possible in case any values look a bit incorrect etc

Hi @antony.pain , this feature will be rolled out by the mid of this month. We will keep you posted, once it goes live. 

Is this feature for Freshsales/Fresh CRM as well or only for FreshDesk?
