Sales and Marketing
I’m trying to achieve what I think should be a simple requirement, but getting no-where.I have a report on my website that I want to offer for download, but only if people share their contact details. My plan had been:Have a form on my website - integrated via tracking code Use a journey to subscribe users to relevant mailing lists and send the email with report linkSimple? Not really. I can’t see how to trigger a journey based on a form submission. I was going to pass a hidden field with which report they wanted into the CRM, then trigger the journey based on the that field, Unfortunately fresh forms don’t seem to be able to handle hidden fields. What are other people doing?

Storing lead data across multiple platforms results in data fragmentation, low context, and poor productivity. To solve these problems, you need a comprehensive CRM that can fill in the gaps by providing a 360-degree view of your customers. Customer 360 view in a CRM like Freshsales can help you tackle this and ensure you have access to all customer data without compromising productivity. With Customer 360, you can: Have a unified view of leads during the various stages of their buyer journey, from the awareness stage to the decision stage Keep track of the necessary information to nurture leads and connect better through contextual and personalized conversations Learn preferences of leads through their interactions and content consumed Close deals faster In what other ways do you think Customer 360 can help your business?
QOTW: Outside sales is still relevant in an era where online interactions are thriving. So what would you say are the benefits of leveraging outside sales today? Here are mine: 1. Leverage in-person cues: During face-to-face meeting with prospects, sales reps can gauge a lead’s interest and steer conversations based on their body language, rapport, and behavior2. Establish positive relationships: Both B2C and B2B consumers today crave human connections. In-person sales meetings can help build positive relationships with contacts, ultimately building trust and loyalty3. Get first-hand insights: Outside sales allows reps to talk one-on-one with industry professionals, where they can learn about market conditions and competitors4. Provide customers the chance to touch and feel a product: Live demos allow leads to ask personalized questions and discover how the product can help their unique challenges and needs. Being on-site with a lead while they learn how to use a product is an invalua
I’m new to FreshSales and want to create a report which shows the data underlying a chart so I can export it. I’ve searched the forum topics and it looks as though I’d need to use tabular format or view underlying data. However, my Analytics report doesn’t have the show / hide underlying data option. For this report, the objective is to show a table of clients, relationship owner, and stage of the relationship, but I don’t have show/hide underlying on any reports. How can I create a report with a data table?I’m using the browser-based version with enterprise annual license.
Hi all,Loving this community, I wondered if I could hear from other Fresh Sales customers on how they are using the quoting side of Fresh Sales. We have been struggling to get it up and running with our requirements and feel the module is limited compared to others out there Quotient, Xero, Hubspot. We want to be able to track gross profit by working out our sale price from our buy price, we want the sales team to able to enter this when they do a quote, but of course not show on the show to the customer. We also want to then have a field that works out net profit (gross - 25%), while we can do this with the deal fields we want to do it on quotes. Then have a sales dashboard to show the reps their weekly, monthly performance. Is anyone out there doing this? Thanks
Devising a sales strategy is unique for every business. Before you set up a sales strategy for your business, here are some key parameters you need to consider:Company vision: A clear declaration of your company’s future direction helps you determine what you need to achieve now and in the near future Revenue goals: Your revenue goals must be aligned with your company vision. It can be something as simple as closing certain targets for this quarter Ideal customer profile (ICP): Creating an archetype of your ideal customers, including their background and pain points can help your sales team identify the right prospects to go after Value proposition: Now that you’ve created an ICP, having a value proposition lets your customers understand how your product/service can fulfill their needs, the benefits it offers and how it is different from the competition Budget: Sales strategy involves various activities, right from providing tools and software for salespeople to training and onboarding
When a lead is added in Freshsales, the lead’s data is run against the territory rule. If the data satisfies the conditions of the rule, the lead is assigned to the territory. Leads in a territory are auto-assigned to users assigned to the same territory in a round-robin fashion.
💥 Consultative selling is a modern selling approach that puts the needs of customers ahead of the sale. It is something you develop over time after interacting with various prospects. So what would you say are skills that a consultative seller needs?

Hello, We recently chose Freshsales as our CRM and Marketing campaign manager. Being based in Germany, most of our leads are German, and by law we are required to have a double opt-in process set in place.Freshworks has a double opt-in feature but it has some extra steps that are not ideal at all for an incoming lead to go through. Therefore, I have been searching for an integrated external app that would host our website forms, do this double opt-in in a straightforward way and send the data to Freshworks.Has anyone been through this already? I would love to hear your feedback and/or recommendations if you have any.And as a more general topic, I am very surprised of how few tools actually offer a double opt-in workflow, considering it is becoming the norm in the EU.Thank you!Arnaud
My company is transitioning our tools to the Freshworks suite, so I am in the process of setting up Freshmarketer for our company. I have a lot of experience with marketing CRMs and have built many marketing programs from the ground up, but I am having a hard time figuring this out.The only “campaign” type that Freshmarketer supports by default is email campaigns. How do you manage this in your business? Examples of what I’m trying to track:If you have inbound leads coming from web ads - how do you capture the source? If you have multi-touch campaigns (a lead watches a webinar, then downloads a document, then converts) - how do you capture the multiple touches? I am only seeing text fields that overwrite the details (so in this example, I would lose the ‘touch’ of the webinar and only see the document download)So far the suggestions that I’ve gotten from my onboarding team are to use tags but those won’t capture dates/times so they aren’t as helpful for reporting. In most marketing CRM

Hello community 🎈In today’s Question of the Week ❓, let’s talk SMS! About 58% of consumers agree texting is the fastest way to reach them. Sales SMS at the center of a mobile-driven outreach strategy is less intrusive as compared to phone calls. Similarly, it’s a step ahead of email marketing. SMS is a quick and convenient way to reach prospects that doesn’t require internet connectivity. In fact, consumers across different segments are open to receiving personalized SMSes. 💬 So, what are some SMS outreach practices to keep in mind? Look forward to reading your comments below!
Hi everyone!Just getting used to using FreshSales and understanding how this awesome tool can benefit our team.Even the basic email tool is rather dynamic...and almost TOO much so.My question, is there a way to set permissions to simplify the formatting options in emails? Our team has a tendency to copy + paste many pieces and parts together in to emails and it seems as this can lead to the emails looking rather poor sometimes!Instead of teaching folks out to clean it all up, and not have 14 fonts & 4 font sizes and everything all mixed up...is there a way to have a default setting, not matter the content that is copied in?Thank you! :)
HiI created a customer journey to test sending emails over a period. The image below shows that after a period of time (10 minutes), an email is sent, and then waits for 5 minutes before sending the second email, and finally after a further 5 minute wait, it sends the third email. When I check my email inbox I only find the third email. The first and second do not appear. When i check the journey analytics, I can see that it is reporting that each of the emails are sent. However, I only find the third email. Note, I have checked my junk/spam folder.Anyone with any ideas what I could check and what could be the cause of this unusual issue? If I send an email from within Freshsales it reaches the email address. Just like the third email in the journey. Thanks
Really stuck on this one….I created a webform for customers to fill out right before they get to our stripe payment page so that we can auto create contacts in Freshsales. Great idea! Though I realized that they may move on to the payment page and then decide not to enter payment and close the window (if they change their mind of course). I really wanted to send an automated Thank You email as soon as a payment was made and at first was going to trigger a workflow tied to the webform (when contact is in webform product type then send email) something like that. Have no clue how to set this up after payment is made through stripe without bothering our developers because they are too busy with product to help with API.
