response to a forwarded email

a response to a forwarded email created a new ticket. is it possible to assign them to the main ticket?

You made a forward action from a ticket to a third party email address and the reply from him has created a new ticket in the helpdesk? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Could you please let me know if the third party has replied from the same email address?
