Employee Onboarding Enhancements
I really like the employee onboarding feature but it could use some tweaks.
First a couple easy ones that would help a lot:
- Default the due date on the tickets created to be the start date for the new employee
- Copy the hiring manager on the tickets created so they are aware of the ticket status
- Allow us to add longer text descriptions to the service request items that the hiring manager can see to explain what those items are
A little more difficult one:
- Provide a way to track the service request items with the user being onboarded. The idea being that we will eventually need to offboard them and it would be helpful to have a checklist of all the systems we need to de-provision their access.
