Attempting to use Fresh API without logging in

I'm set up with our company to use a day pass (occasional agent).  While testing the Freshdesk API, the API calls work only if explicitly log in through the web interface before making the API call, which uses my private token.


Is there some way to use the API in this case without logging in through the web UI?
