Can Freshdesk send (compose) new messages like email?

Can Freshdesk send (compose) new messages like email? or do you have to login to your separate email host  to send new email messages.

    Hi,

    We do not have the option to compose a new email ,you could only reply  to tickets from freshdesk.

    Is this feature planned? This is pretty inconvenient given that we want our agents to work fully within Freshdesk and avoid using the email client.

    No we've not yet taken up this feature.


    We are still considering this feature, since Freshdesk is not like an Email client but a Helpdesk & Support App, bringing such option may not go well

    Sorry that we've missed updating this thread for a very long time. You would be able to compose emails from Freshdesk using the Outbound ticket option. Here's a 2 min read about the feature:
