How to add ticket list to customer portal home?

Is it possible to add the ticket list to the customer portal home page? I've tried adding {% snippet ticket_list %} but it didn't list any tickets.

    Hi, 

    Please use the script in the link provided below to have the tickets list displayed on the Home Page.

    Go to Admin--> Portal--> Customize Portal(On the desired Portal)--> Layout and Pages--> Portal Pages--> Portal Home and copy paste this code at the bottom.
