Slightly annoying behaviour in text editor

Hi,


when i am replying to a customer ticket in freshdesk i have found that, recently, the text editor is behaving in a way that is a bit weird. when i delete a word the preceding space is also deleted. Although this is a really minor issue it is really annoying and i have never seen this behaviour in any other software.


Does anyone know if this is a setting that can be turned off?
