Announcements specific to a portal page

It appears that announcements are site-wide. But what if you want to show announcements only on certain pages? e.g. we have a customer portal and we would like announcements that are specific to this customer portal only not site wide.

    You can make use of the liquid placeholders to identify the customer and display the announcement code only for that user.
