Hey Guys,


Something is wrong with the Email Notifications setting! When I try to change something (like disabling a specific notification) it won't be saved. It goes to default after refresh.


Is it a general problem right now or Am I doing something wrong?

Welcome to the Freshdesk community. We have an automatic spam checker to check for spam accounts that are newly created and it blocks certain functionalities in the account unless the accounts gets verified. Can you please check if you have a handful number of tickets to start with, so that it passes the threshold set by the spam checker?

Okay, I'll try to send some more tickets and see if it works!


Btw, If I want to change my account email, how do I do that? I tried via the profile settings, but it was grayed out.

You can change the account related information under Admin -> Account section.
