When I try to put the widget on our website it never loads, in chrome will show an x in the area the widget is supposed to be displayed, and in Edge, it says "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate."

But this happens when trying to use it with and without https enabled on the widget.

Hello Brandon,

This generally happens if your widget URL is a custom domain URL which doesn't have the https signed on by default. You could input the https://company.freshdesk.com URL in the widget and that should work like a charm since the FreshDesk URL's are always secured with an ssl cert.

Cheers!

I need this to work with https://support."mycompanyname".org.  I keep getting the content blocked error message.  Please be more descriptive on what I need to do.

@Jtarr Using Freshdesk portal or the widget on custom domain requires a SSL certificate to support the content on HTTPS. You can request for one under Admin -> Security section or write an email to support(at)freshdesk(dot)com and our support heroes will help you with the process.

Cheers!
