I use Vbulletin software and am try to figure out how to use the member's email as the Requestor instead of our site email.


Most of our tickets are generated via the "Contact Us" page or by using the "Report Post" button.


In both cases, the member's username and email are included in the message.


Example:
username (mailto: email@email.com)

message


How do I setup Freshdesk so that it uses the mailto email address instead of our site address?



Hello,


You can setup the Reply-To address of the email to that of the actual user so that it creates a ticket in Freshdesk on behalf of the original user.


 I found this topic on vBulletin forums about setting up the Reply-To field for the emails and thought you'd be interested to try it out.
