Hi @RBS_Simon,
Greetings from Freshworks community. Are you referring to Microsoft Outlook contacts app ? to https://www.freshworks.com/apps/outlook_contacts/
Please make sure the user whose profile is using for authentication/installation has necessary permission to access https://outlook.office.com/api/v2.0/me/contactfolders. I hope this helps!
Hello,
We are attempting to sync our contacts with Office 365. While we have successfully installed the Outlook Sync App, the synchronization does not initiate.
Does someone know the necessary permissions in Office 365 to enable contact synchronization? Additionally, how can we manually start the sync process of fm whats app?
Thank you.
To sync contacts with Office 365, ensure the app has "Contacts.ReadWrite" permissions in Azure AD and verify user permissions for managing mailbox contacts. To manually start the sync, open the Outlook Sync App, enable the sync feature in settings, and restart or reconfigure the account if needed.
Have you tried checking the sync settings or ensuring that all permissions are enabled for Outlook? Sometimes, issues like this arise due to minor configuration problems. On another note, while troubleshooting, I came across a useful APK for managing cricket scores and events seamlessly. It's amazing how technology simplifies things in different areas. Let me know if you figure out the Outlook sync issue!

To sync contacts with Office 365, ensure the necessary permissions for Outlook are granted under the Exchange Online settings. Users should have the proper access to their contacts and email accounts. To manually start the sync process, try opening Outlook, go to the "File" tab, click on "Account Settings," and select "Sync." You can also check the sync settings in the Outlook Sync App to ensure it's properly configured. If the issue persists, you may want to check for updates or troubleshoot through the Office 365 admin portal.
