Introduction

I will start 😀

I am Joost van den Reek, working in the IT industry for ~25 years. At the moment at Teijin Aramid a chemical manufacturer. The last ~10 years I been working in the field of ITSM/ESM, implemented several ITSM applications at several companies.

My current role is Manager ESM & PPM, where I am responsible for implementing Freshservice and setting up a Project Portfolio Office, also in Fresh. My philosophy is keep it simple and stick to standard. 

I live in The Netherlands, married, we have 2 kids in puberty, all joy and fun. No  seriously I love them to bits. 

In my spare fee time I like to cycle, my last achievement was  riding The Elfstedentocht, a 235 KM ride.

Within my company we use Freshservices for IT, HR, Facilty and Technical Services. Contentwise we use Ticketing, Changes, Problem, Project, Alert and Analytics.
