can we create alerts in freshService using webhooks or API

Hi,

I have a usecase in which I have to generate alerts in freshservice using webhooks or API,

so when a particular event is fired , an alert is generated on freshservice,

    Freshservice has an in house alert management system to receive alerts through API and automate incident creation based on rules.

    it does automate incident creation but incident updates or resolution does not fire the workflow automator which is a pity...seems like a bug or a design flaw.
