Hello Team,

Can any one guide me with step by step procedure for migration of tickets from ManageEngine ServiceDesk to Freshservice without any third party tool?

Your solutions will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Hemal,

We don’t have a direct approach for migrating tickets from ManageEngine to Freshservice currently. We would have to perform a CSV migration from our end in order to migrate the tickets. Else, you can also make use of our APIs and perform a script that would be creating these tickets, please note that the API limits would apply when performing this and would be rate limited accordingly.

Thanks,

Rajagopal

I think there’s an “App” in Freshservice called “Help Desk Migration | Migration to Freshservice” that can do this. We are in the midst of moving from SDP to Freshservice as well and will be testing this out shortly.

Yes, Help Desk Migration can do that for you. It’s free to test. And, our tool is proven to speed up the transition process, so it’s worth a try.

I get it. Sometimes it’s a business requirement. But we’ve seen with our customers that writing a script or trying to pull off the CSV trick can take weeks. Third-party tools can be of great help.

Let me know what you think.

Unfortunately if you have an on premise SDP implementation, Help Desk Migration will not work as it only supports SDP Cloud.

@iteo Since the partner relies on APIs, the on prem version might not be supported. If you are looking to migrate the data, please do get in touch with our support team to evaluate the right approach here.

Thanks.
