Hi @spencerporch,
Greetings from Freshworks Community!
The Interactive Filter feature enables the application of specific filters without altering the original reports. However, it only supports one condition at a time. Users can add up to 5 interactive filters and provide conditions separately.
Hope this clarifies your concerns.
Cheers,
Sneha.
In Google Analytics, it's not possible to directly apply a filter that involves multiple conditions in a single widget (e.g., combining "Ticket Type = Problem" and "# Customer Interactions >2" in one interactive filter widget). Typically, you need to create separate filters for each condition. However, there are a couple of workarounds that might make this process more efficient:
-
Custom Segments: You can create a custom segment that includes both conditions. To do this, go to the "Segments" section in Google Analytics and create a new segment where you define the conditions like "Ticket Type = Problem" and "# Customer Interactions > 2." Then, apply this segment to your reports. This way, the segment will filter the data for you, and you won’t need to apply two separate filters each time.
-
Advanced Filters in Views: If you're looking for a permanent filter that applies to the entire view, you can create an advanced filter that combines multiple conditions and then apply that filter to your view. This would require more configuration but would reduce the need for multiple widget filters.
By using segments, you can save time and reduce clicks, while still achieving the desired filtering effect across your reports. For further updates or helpful tips on managing data efficiently, you can check out Rookie Side Loader.
