It would be extremely useful if we had the option to categorize the parent and child tickets from the “Create Tickets” step of the setting up Employee Onboarding in Freshservice. When creating or editing a ticket, we can identify Predecessor and Successor Tickets, set the ticket to a certain status on creation, and indicate fields that should be a part of the ticket. So if we could add the ability to select categories - subcategories - and items for tickets, it would save the need to build a workflow automator for each possible ticket.

I would also like to see the ability to require a parent ticket be Resolved/Closed before child tickets get created. For example, if a parent onboarding ticket is to create a user account in AD, we wouldn’t really want any child tickets that require that AD account to be created and active until after it’s been built, and the Agent resolves or closes that ticket.

Does this feature/concept in the Onboarding module help avoid that scenario?
