Ability to change 'Requester' label on Submit ticket form to 'Email address' or similar

A lot of our customers get confused when creating a ticket because on the submit a ticket page, the form says 'Requester' for the email address field.

I think it would make much more sense to have this field called 'Email address' or 'Your email address', or better still give us the ability to customise this and other elements of the 'Submit a ticket' form ourselves.

In our case when an agent creates the ticket, the field shows "aanvrager" which is the dutch thanslation of requester. But when a customer creates the ticket, the label is "requester".

Same with priority. This is always in english.

Would be nice if we had more options to change labels according to our needs.

Hey Guys,

We are soon coming out with Full CSS customization that will let you customize your support portal in any which way you like. This includes the 'Submit a Ticket' page as well. So there :)

And Remi, I have passed this onto our development team and we will be looking into this. Meanwhile you can go to Admin>>Ticket Fields and as you add a new field, there will be an option for customizing the Field Label for agents and customers as well. You can try using this now. But we will be considering your requirement as well.

Thanks,

Hi,

This option can be configured under Admin -> Ticket fields section. Here's a screengrab that shows you how to make the name change:

Cheers!
