Ability to DOWNLOAD ALL ATTACHMENTS to a ticket...instead of one at a time

Hey,


It would be great if there was a 'Download all attachments' function....sometimes we have 10+ attachments to a ticket and we need to download one at a time....

In addition to downloading in bulk, we'd like to see uploading in bulk!

Downloading in bulk without modifications of the file extensions would be a great asset. Maybe offer it similar to Google Mail: download all in zip-file

Yes this is needed.  Especially, when attachments all start with the same prefix "FILETODOWNLOAD1", "FILETODOWNLOAD2".  The attachments all say "FILE", "FILE", "FILE", and with 20+ attachments, it difficult to know which ones I downloaded, and not.  It can be done, but it's a much more time consuming task, then it needs to be.

I've just had a reply from a client with 32 attachments on it, half of which are .txt and the other half .html. Currently have to download all individually by right-clicking and 'save link as'.

70 attachments included (don't ask me why), but it makes it so lame to download them in separate...

Download all would be a nice addition, so:

There is a freshplug for this feature. I've attached the word document I got for this.

I was sent the freshplug by support as well - this is great, but unfortunately only works for attachments to the original request, not any replies to it.

Hello,


There was an app that facilitates downloading attachments in a single click but that was delisted due to some issues. The partner who built it is re-working on the app and it is expected to be published soon.


As of now, Freshdesk allows you to:


1. Multi-select attachments and upload them to ticket replies

2. Quickly add existing attachments in the ticket in a single click

The feature request was to download all attachments in bulk, not to upload them. We too need this as we get multiple attachments in configuration and data files from customers and it is time consuming to download one by one.

Hi,

This feature would be hugely useful for my organization - we rely on customers sending us documents so we can provide technical support, and often there are multiple attachments to one ticket.


It can be very time consuming to separately download each attachment and a batch download would greatly increase the functionality of Freshdesk for my team.

I had written in about this feature request about a year ago and saw that is was recognized as a feature request. It would be nice to see an update on it.

Seeing as it's such a basic element of normal email, I'm not sure why so much time has elapsed that it hasn't been implemented into Freshdesk. I've had a great experience with Freshdesk, but this would really make so much of our workflow so much easier. When your customers can't seem to figure out how to compress files into a zip file, and they insist on sending 50 attachments at a time, it really kills your efficiency when you're busy right clicking and downloading, and then forgetting which attachment you last downloaded...
