This is a must implement ASAP. If this is not possible to do, the whole parent/child implementation is pointless.
You MUST be able to merge a ticket into a child ticket.

Ability to merge a ticket with a child ticket
+2We are finding soooo complicated to mange projects because we can’t merge anything into the Child Tickets. We are having no choice than to overwork and create separte tickets and add the link to the summary. Again too much busy work (Time is money).
It would be great to have the capabilty to merge anything to the child tickets, basically giving the same features as the regular ticket.
