Ability to save fields selected as part of view

Ability to save fields selected as part of view - We regularly use views in the to run our CAB meetings. It would be great if we could save the fields selected in the grid as part of the public view. Different fields are more relevant to different views, so saving the fields shown with a particular view would be very helpful. This would also reduce the effort to setup since it could be maintained centrally by an admin.
