The ability to be able to select certain custom reports to update at more frequent intervals, ideally allow the Admin to set an update interval as low as 15 minutes for a limited number of reports.
The 4 hour update interval for Custom reports often creates issues providing information to staff that have deadlines for information contained in the reports.
I suspect the 4 hour minimum has been set for application performance reasons (particularly for organisations who have a lot of configured reports)

Currently, there’s an approximate latency of 30 minutes in the Analytics reports (both curated and custom reports) and not 4 hours as mentioned in the article. However, the requirement in your idea is well understood and on our roadmap (not currently planned for a specific release).
