Yes we definitely need to be able to setup alerts on this date!...

We would also need the possibility to add a "Time" field to the ticket. We are running a voice mailbox where customers leave voice messages for our support team. For these messages we manually create a ticket, but need some kind of link to find the original message in the mailbox. So the "Date" field helps us to narrow it down, but a "Time" field would be perfect.

Hi Janani,

Thanks for implementing this feature, could potentially become very useful. Do you already have any idea when we will be able to use this in supervisor as mentioned?

Kind Regards,
Kevin

This needs a today's date placeholder option, that can be chosen when clicking on the field. For example, if we have a product coming in for an RMA repair, we would like to have a custom date field. When the product is finally repaired, we would like for it to be updated to today's date when an observer, dispatcher, or supervisor rule is triggered by change of status.

Please implement this option.

Also, to explain further: This would allow the date to stay with the date it was set to, which should be the "today" parameter and will not change the next day. It should only read the current date/time and then populate the field, the date shouldn't change after the custom date field has been entered.

Hi,

We've recently released the ability to setup reminders on the To-Do items added to a ticket. This is available on the MINT interface for accounts subscribed to Blossom plan and above.

Follow this thread to know more about the feature : https://support.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/319239

Note : Although this thread talks about the usage of the date field values in automations, the TO-DO reminder can still serve the purpose , albeit with the need for a manual reminder setup.

Cheers!

I would like to see the ability to also be able to manually type in the date instead of replying on the date picker directly. Currently, clicking in the field you only get the date picker, not the ability to enter a date manually.
