Team loves Mint UI but we use Jira heavily for send items to engineering team so this is going to cause us to not use the Mint UI. :(

This is really a blocking issue to the Mint adoption. I'm also afraid that one day Freshdesk will switch to the mint interface without fixing this problem.

Adding that the JIRA integration is quite weak (see many other topics here).


@Freshdeskteam: please comment about that.

This is also a huge issue for my company too. We NEED integrations as well for this to work.

I had to revert from Mint because I need Jira integration.  Please update the Jira plugin. No need to do it all at once either...  1) Make a release that is Mint compatible  2) roll out other enhancements later.

So I guess this is not being reviewed by the Freshdesk team? Can anyone at the Freshdesk team respond to this. We use JIRA and many other of YOUR app integrations and YOUR software is not compatible with YOUR new Mint interface. These integrations are one of the main reasons we moved from Zendesk to Freshdesk and now we can't even use the product. We are stuck on the old interface that is slow and dated.

Please review this. It honestly can't be that hard to add a DIV container, a little CSS and show the JIRA data there? Can it?

I had a call with them the other day and was told March it will be implemented.

I was also told "2 months" about a month ago. 

I encouraged them to post the info in response to these threads, and to update the article about the plugin, but it doesn't look like that happened.

Hi,


The JIRA app on the new interface is post development and it is currently under  review. We're expecting it to be pushed to production by the month of April. I'll keep you all posted with any more developments on this regard. 


Also, the app that is being currently built will have similar features as in the classic UI and the enhancements will follow later.

The JIRA app is now compatible with the MINT interface. Go ahead and start integrating JIRA with Freshdesk MINT from the Admin->Apps section.

We've just released a new version of the JIRA app that's compatible with the Mint interface and also comes with a lot of additional features. With this new version, you can:

1. Connect multiple JIRA accounts to your Freshdesk account.
2. Connect multiple JIRA issues to a Freshdesk ticket and also connect a JIRA issue to multiple Freshdesk tickets.
3. Customize JIRA columns that need to be shown in Freshdesk once the ticket is linked with JIRA. 
4. Define agent roles to allow or restrict agents from deleting JIRA issues from tickets.  
5. Search for JIRA issues by the ‘subject’ fields as well as the issue number.
