I would like the option to add canned or even default text to the description field when creating or editing a ticket similar to what is in place when replying.

Derek,

You'd now be able to prefill not only the description field but almost all the fields in the ticket form using the Ticket templates feature.

Cheers!

Hello Aravind!

Hope you are doing well :)

We would like also to pre-fill Description field on the Customer side.

It means, according to Dependent Fields, where we select the product related to the ticket, it displays some questions or sentences in the Description.

What is the business case? Why it is so important?

So we would improve ticket qualification. Customer would be guided with our questions or sentences. Today we have some tickets that are not qualified, so we have to ask for more elements.

Thank you for your help :) !

Have a wonderful evening,

Antoine

Hello Aravind!

We would like also to pre-fill Description field on the Customer side.

A feature to display some questions or sentences in the Description when a customer creates a new ticket.

I think guiding the customer with ease of access would be beneficial for them.
Also, this would prompt them for more information in the beginning to reduce the total amount of correspondence

Thank you for taking a look into this, we would really appreciate this implementation as well!

Regards,
-Ben K

Thank you Ben for your comment,

Have a great day :) !

Similar to Canned Forms but proactive. I would like to see the New Ticket form prompt the customer for custom issue. For us, missed messages, latent messages, timeouts, and other criteria (wizard style, perhaps) - SDK/Language, production/developerment, etc. Based on that, the ticket fields are pre-filled and Description is prefilled with a canned form or just a link to it.
