Please implement the placeholder for the current logged in agent. For e.g. in the reply templates there is only placeholder for the agent who is assigned to that ticket. But that is senseless in our case because when opening a new ticket, the ticket doesn't have an assignee, so the placeholder is not filled. Therefore it would be cool if there is a placeholder for current logged in agent.

in regards to the name, with the new freshdesk account there is no way to have a first name only if you leave it blank it will not allow you to save the record.

There is no editable full name field, this is the screen for the agent:
This is the Freshworks account where you have to update the details since your change to profiles as few weeks ago. You are not allowed to save only a first name.

I have found another issue today, we also use the app for the iPhone and this feature doesn't work when you reply to a ticket in the app??

Well this app doesn't actually fixes what is asked: a place holder of currently logged in user.
It doesn't sound like an heavy development.
Freshdesk needs to listen to its users and common cases.

I just found this thread because I ran into exactly the same issue. Crazy that the “logged in agent name” is not an official feature / placeholder yet…
My problem is that I cannot even get the app to run. I have installed it, but now what? How do I encourage it to enter the agent name?
