It’s great to have data source lookup option for dropdowns, but sometimes it’s to limited.
It would be great if this would be extended to other object lists, such as Vendors (that’s what we need in our current usecase), Product Catalog, etc.
In case of Vendor we want to make visible on which vendor we are waiting to fullfill a service request. In other cases, like being able to link products we could use it for analytics, as described in this idea:
