Hi,

I am currently doing some testing to try and integrate Freshdesk with Teams.

I am trying to add a website tab to link to my ticket overview in Freshdesk but when I log in through the Teams tab it says You are not allowed to access this page!

I am using the same login details that I use through Chrome browser.

Hi Joseph,

With the Freshdesk-Microsoft Teams integration, you’ll receive instant notifications on Teams whenever there’s an update on the tickets assigned to you in Freshdesk. These notifications will show up as conversations with the Freshdesk bot, and you’ll be able to add quick replies or notes to your tickets directly from Teams. You could view the ticket using the view in Freshdesk option.

If there is some issue you see while performing this, please reach out to our support team.

Cheers.

To add Freshdesk as a website in Teams, follow the below steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to the channel where you want to add Freshdesk as a website.

  2. Click on the "+" icon next to the channel name and select the "Website" option.

  3. In the "Website" field, enter the URL for Freshdesk

  4. Give a name to the website, for example, "Freshdesk."

  5. Click on the "Save" button to add Freshdesk as a website to the Teams channel.

  6. Now, you can access Freshdesk directly from the Teams channel by clicking on the website icon.

That's it! You have successfully added Freshdesk as a website in Teams.
