Allow dispatcher rules conditions to case on the contacts "Language" parameter

We serve customers with multiple languages, even within a same Company (offices in multiple countries, multilingual countries or provinces/states) which means that a Dispatcher rule based on domain or Email would be useless. However, since each contact can  pick its favorite communication language, allowing the Dispatcher's rules to be able to case on the contact language parameter would offer a much more flexible solution when it comes to sending notification messages, in the language selected by the end-user.

Thanks for considering this feature.

Hi Michael

We are coming up with a Dynamic Language detection feature in Freshdesk.

How it works is  - You can define your Freshdesk Portal Language and add up additional languages in Admin > Helpdesk Rebranding.

Once this is done, if someone sends an Email in French, we will automatically detect the language contents and reply or notifications will be sent in French language itself. We will be allowing the option to include your own French or German or Dutch contents. Once these are set, the notifications will be going out in the respective user languages.

This feature is currently in testing and will be coming out in the next 2-3 weeks time, depending on fixes

Hi Vijay,

So you are saying that the system will automatically detect the language based on the contents in the e-mail? The body, and or the subject? I'm trying to get this to work, but so far Dutch does not seem to be recognized...

Thanks,

Arjan.

Hi Arjan ,

Could you please send a mail to support@freshdesk.com. We will be able to help you out better.

Thanks

Hello,

Dynamic email notifications allow you to set language specific content for each of the notifications that get sent to the ticekt requester. You don't have to configure rules for language support - Freshdesk automatically detects the language of a first time user and sends notifications in the preferred language.

Cheers!
