I’m kind of shocked this doesn’t already exist, but having the ability to add To-Do list items would be extremely useful.

Example Scenario:

A New Employee is starting. When that ticket type is changed to “Onboarding,” add items to To-Do list (Provision computer, create account, mail accessories.”

 

There are so many repetitive situations this would help

It would be great to have this added. The suggestion to add notes that could direct the user to create the to-do items isn’t bad, but it adds waste to the process.

That would be a great feature. And to make a to-do mandatory to finish before closing the ticket would even give more value to this feature.

It would be a great feature to have automation functionalities on the TODO list !!

The supervisor / Administrator can make rules in each condition so that the Agents can have a notification/reminder to complete the TODO in every ticket they were assigned.

Agreed, this would be great. The onboarding / offboarding modules don’t work for our requirements, neither do Tasks, so we’ve had to design our own process to manage to-do’s.

Our best approach at the moment is:

  1. Have parent / child starter or leaver tickets
    1. Parent ticket is allocated to any member of our Service Desk
    2. Child tickets go to system owners who are the only person who can resolve that particular task
  2. Service Desk then copy / paste an activity table from a solution to the description field of their parent starter ticket
    1. Description field can be edited by anyone (we have disabled an agents ability to edit other peoples notes)
    2. Activity table used as a way to record common to-do’s and when they have been completed

I’d love a way to automate populating the description field rather than asking someone to manually copy / paste!
