Using MSP mode, I have Quarterly reports that are sent out. Due to not having an option to automate these on a Quarterly basis

I have set them up Daily and just turn them on each quarter, let them run and then turn them off again. (Not ideal and I have asked if a Quarterly option will be available - still with FreshService Support).

Until such time as this is an option it would be good to have an option at the right hand side of the report:

to turn these on rather than having to open each report, click on Export, click on schedule report and turn on

Using MSP mode, quarterly reports must be handled manually because the platform does not currently support automation on a quarterly schedule. As a result, reports need to be generated and sent out each quarter by an administrator. A common workaround junk removal visalia is to use monthly or scheduled reports where available and then combine or export the data at the end of each quarter, but full quarterly automation is not supported at this time.

Yes, I understand the Quarterly option is not available, hence the workaround. The idea was to be able too switch off/on these reports at source and not having to go into each individual report to do this. My customers who are external require Quarterly reports so using monthly/scheduled reports are not an option for me unfortunately

An analytics scheduling option allows users to automate the generation and delivery of reports at predefined intervals, such as daily, weekly, or monthly. This feature helps businesses stay consistently informed about key performance metrics without the need for manual data extraction. By setting customized schedules, users can ensure that relevant stakeholders receive timely insights via email or dashboards, improving decision-making and efficiency.

Yeah, that’s definitely not an ideal workflow.

Quick fix: use automation (like Make/Zapier or a cron job) to call the Freshservice API every 3 months and export/send the report automatically — no need to turn reports ON/OFF manually.

Your idea of a quick toggle button is also solid, it would save a lot of time 👍

Also, for reliable scheduled delivery workflows, many teams prefer solutions like best Iptv service that focus on automation and consistency.

That’s a smart workaround, but yeah, not ideal at all. A simple toggle option directly from the report list would save a lot of time and clicks—especially when managing multiple reports. Hopefully, they add quarterly scheduling soon.

Also, just like automation matters in tools, it’s equally important in streaming platforms—choosing a best iptv service ensures a smooth and hassle-free experience without constant manual effort.

I think this idea makes a lot of sense, especially for teams that rely heavily on recurring reporting. Having more flexibility in scheduling (like quarterly or toggle-based schedules) would definitely reduce manual effort and make analytics workflows smoother.

In many cases, users end up using workarounds or external references just to manage scheduled reporting efficiently. A cleaner scheduling layer would really improve usability for business users who depend on automated insights.

I recently came across a structured breakdown of reporting and scheduling workflows while researching analytics use cases, and it highlights how important simplicity is in data access. For example, even basic information systems like the 7 brew gift card balance  are easier to use when the navigation and structure are clear and intuitive—similar principles apply to analytics dashboards as well.

Overall, adding more scheduling control options could significantly improve adoption and reduce dependency on manual report handling.

Hi everyone,

This is a really useful discussion. The lack of flexible scheduling options (especially for different reporting cycles like weekly/monthly/quarterly variations) definitely makes reporting workflows more manual than they should be.

In many cases, teams end up exporting or triggering reports manually just to match business timing needs, which could be much smoother with more scheduling flexibility.

I recently explored a similar concept around simplifying scheduled reporting workflows and presenting structured data access more cleanly in dashboards — sharing here in case it helps someone thinking about alternative ways to present or organize scheduled insights:

Would be great to see more advanced scheduling controls added here, especially for complex reporting cycles.
