Assign default profile picture for company

Many of our requestors don't upload profile pictures. For this reason it would be useful if we could add a profile picture per company that becomes a default image for any requesters from that company should they not have their own image. Something such as their company logo would allow for easy identification of the requestor on screens such as the ticket list where no company information is available.

This would be an extremely useful enhancement, that would make visually identifying which tickets are for a particular company much easier.

Guys how long is this away?  you have the ability to do it for customers why not for companies?

This is a little bit crazy, you have to add the company profile for each individual & there is no way to do it for the company.

Hmmmm... starting to worry this looks just like the Zendesk product enhancement forums! features requested for multiple years with no response or action!

Hello,


Logos can now be added to companies in Freshdesk (on MINT). You can find this option in the Edit company page. 



However, the logo added here will not be carried over automatically to the contacts. You can leverage our API endpoint for adding an avatar to contacts from a specific company. For more details, please refer: Update contact

Firstly this last comment does show how to add a logo to a company but it is not available in our environment (see screenshot)

And secondly... what is the point if it has to be done only programmatically?

It would be really useful to just have a rule: 

- if requester's picture not set, the use requester's company picture

!

I know this is closed for voting, but the feature would be useful, as manually adding logos for each profile is tedious. It would be a great help to have tickets from big accounts showing a logo in the ticket list, even for new contacts.

 

If we are already uploading the logo for the company and that company has a domain to track new contacts, it would be great for new contacts to be created with the company logo automatically assigned to their profile. I’m just hoping this gets checked and reconsidered after so many years...
