Assign users to a service item from contract

When creating a contract, you are able to add multiple service item, all with their own costs and quantity. This makes sense for software. I.E. you can have multiple license types for 1 particular software asset. 

However, currently its not possible to assign users to the service item of a contract. 
I need to create contracts for all different license types ...
