I think it would be very nice, particularly for larger organisations or MSP’s, to be able to automatically add Agents to Agent Roles and Agent Groups based on various criteria, similar to how Requester Groups currently function:
This can helpfully work in tandem with automated provisioning of accounts so that Administrators, once having added the various criteria to the appropriate Agent Roles/Groups, barely need lift a finger after that point.
Any idea when this may be able to be added. This would be very beneficial and save time in administration work or troubleshooting when someone has issues accessing something and they have not been added to all the right roles in order to complete their daily tasks for their team.

Agreed. Having role based groups with the permissions automatically assigned to that Agent Group. You should be able to say when you create an Agent Group that you want specific Admin or Agent Roles to be automatically assigned. Then anything outside of that can be manually applied, if certain people need extra access. That way access is assigned correctly without having to continuously check someone else’s access or create a Custom Object to keep track of it / Workflow / Solution Articles.
