Why are we not able to customize our own email reply template notifications with HTML and CSS with our own branding? We can only edit what that message says in the notification also a preview button of what said email notification looks like would be extremely helpful.

Almost like the way shopify can preview and change what email notifications look like.

Would indeed be nice to be able to change the template into a more professional look! Like Zendesk does for example..

Waiting on an update for this myself. I am tempted to switch to Zendesk just for this.

Yes, I agree this would be a welcome feature that my team would use.

Estoy totalmente de acuerdo, debería poderse cambiar la plantilla de correo.

¿Cuando se tendría esto?

Hello All,

Apologies for the delay in replying in this thread.

We heard your feedback and we have this one already added to the list of Feature requests. We would make sure to notify when this is available.

Though the HTML support for the editor in tickets/email notifications is not yet available, you can still configure templates with customized layout. This is a workaround/hack and it might not be compatible with every layout/html design.

You can edit the layout using the console section ( To open console, right click on the editor and choose "Inspect" if you're on Chrome ) . You can now select the line "<div class="redactor_editor">" and choose the option Edit as HTML. You can now copy paste your HTML content in this div and then save the rule/notification template.

Cheers!

@aarthy.dhanasekaran Hi Aarthy, I came across this old post about HTML editing the email templates.

I have tried your approach to edit the content in the console section but can’t get it to work. I am trying to add a <button> code to the template instead of normal url links. Is this not possible within FreshService?
