Better Forum Moderation/Spam Controls

Unless I am missing something, it is QUITE TEDIOUS to deal with spam in Forums area. Things have been ok for a while, but lately we've been getting hit by spam bombs where I have to delete dozens of spam posts 1 by 1.


There has to be a better way than this:


  1. Go into Forum
  2. Go into each thread
  3. Click Edit
  4. Click Delete
  5. Confirm
  6. Navigate back to Forums

We are working on an automatic spam filter to prevent spam posts from being published in the forum. We will be releasing this in a weeks time. I apologize for the undue pain this is causing.

Even the ability to batch select topics and mark them as spam, banning the user at the same time would be great.  With tickets, spam is much easier to manage, but on the forums it's nearly impossible to keep up and it's damaging my reputation.  This is very urgent for me!

We have introduced the much awaited spam filter. Also, an agent can choose to mark a topic as spam,It will be automatically moved to the spam folder within the Forum section and can also be reviewed later.
