Boolean tag searches

When we do a search for two tags, it returns all the tickets that contain either tag, which is pretty useless for us.  We need to see the tickets that contain both tags.

This is great news, and we will definitely be using this feature.  However, this is not what I was requesting.  I was asking about exclusive tag searches.  I just checked FD, and I confirmed that adding more tags to a tag search still expands your results, rather than narrowing them.  So this issue is not resolved and should not be marked "Solved."


It's strange because the new search feature you added seems like it would be more technically challenging for your dev team than it would be to simply make tag searches exclusive, rather than inclusive.  I don't know why FD would be so resistant to a feature that would be so simple and so useful!

Thanks for the note,Jeremy. I was hoping that the search filter helps you to narrow down the results to a greater extent. But, I understand that it also works with the Either logic and doesn't perform an AND query. If I'm not wrong, you're looking for tickets that contain both the keywords ( tags ) to be listed in the search. 


Ex : Tag1 AND Tag2

Hope you are well. As of now, we do not have the provision to include AND/Or conditions in the filter as it would make the filters tab too complex for the agents using the filters on a daily basis. However, we'll have the feedback passed on to the concerned team. Thank you for your feedback.
